Bet ya thought I wasn’t going to post these for more days! Fooled ya! Lol, just kidding. I am going to finish these strong, and make sure that I have other content queued up. Consistency is key! But that aside, want to see what I am most grateful for on days 27 – 29? Read to find ouuuutttttt 🙂
With the opening of a new month and new opportunity, I want to bring something a little different to this little site of mine. I read a great post from nellytherebel.blog via a Facebook group I am in (shoutout to y’all!), which was titled: “66 Days of Gratitude: Make Gratitude a Habit.” I read it and thought, “this is great.”
1. It provides a simple way to think about the little things. As I’ve beat down on many times on here: I experience major depression and anxiety. Thankfully the depression is in a ‘trough’ right now, but anxiety is still a b*tch. This forces me to think about things that I love daily for at least a little bit.
2. I’ve said time and time again here that I want to be more consistent. This is another way to create content that is authentic and meaningful, while remaining consistent.
With all of that being said, I would like to adapt Nelly’s 66 days to 31….one post for every day this month.
Day 27: Which sight are you most grateful for?
I don’t think I can genuinely say that there is one sight that I am most grateful for. So much out there honestly, can’t narrow it down. #SorryNotSorry
Day 28: What small thing that happened this week are you most grateful for?
As I am writing this, it is currently Tuesday. Thus, this week wasn’t made of too much (yet). Between Sunday and today, I think the small thing I am most grateful for is having lunch with my boyfriend yesterday. It was refreshing to see him as usual, but it was also a nice lesson to me in letting go of rigidity. I don’t usually venture out for lunch, nor do I take my hour to leave my desk most of the time because I feel like I shouldn’t. This is absurd of course, since you are entitled to this lunch break, and it is built into the hours. The feeling aside, I also do not explore as I said because of my weird rigidity with time. While we were there, I kept internally panicking that I was not going to make it back to the office at the right time. He kept reassuring me that the timing would work out, and eventually I just let go. Once I did that, I was able to take in the beautiful day, the great breeze, the good vibes, and my company.
Day 29: What drink are you most grateful for?
Waaaaaaaterrrrr. I can get water anywhere, it is always refreshing, and it is nourishing in the most simplest of ways. Can’t ask for more!
If I had to choose anything else, I would probably say wine.
