Today was a pretty nice day! I got to spend a day in Manhattan with my mom and my sister 🙂 We went to see the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater at the New York City Center. I saw this show last winter break with my godmother and really liked it, so I couldn’t pass up the opportunity when my mom offered to take me.

There were a total of four dances performed – “The Pleasure of the Lesson,” “Awassa Astrige/Ostrich,” “Four Corners,” and probably the most well known, “Revelations.”
My favourites were “Four Corners” (which I enjoyed a bit more last year) and of course, “Revelations.”
After the show finished, we took our time walking back to Grand Central to take the train home. On the way, I grabbed a bite to eat, and we saw a few of the decorations that were up for Christmas. We were going to stop over by Rockefeller Center to see the tree, but it was WAY too hectic, so we decided to pass.
All in all, it was a pretty nice day!
I hope you all had a nice Sunday!
